Louis Alhage

Louis graduated from Castleton University in 2017 with a degree in Exercise Science. He specializes in sports specific training, as well as speed and agility. Louis is passionate about the development of athletes and helping them be as efficient as possible. He is also a certified EMT and volunteers for New Milford.

Andy DiGuiseppi

Andy holds a black sash in the art of Wing Chun Kung Fu under the late master Kevin Becker, and holds rank in many other disciplines such as Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Kali, Kuntao, Silat, Judo & Jujitsu. He has 20 years of regular practice and 15+ as a certified instructor, he brings a wealth of knowledge and hands on skill to every training session. His specialities derive largely from the Classical Wing Chun curriculum which includes sub set arts such as bare knuckle boxing, kickboxing, grappling, street self defense and weaponry as well as sports recovery exercises such as Chi Gung, Yoga, and other eastern disciplines.

Michelle Freeman

Michelle is certified in Personal Training, Sports Nutrition, as well as group exercise.  She enjoys working one on one or in small groups to help clients meet their personal goals, whether it be gaining strength, losing weight or getting ready for any type of athletic event or competition. She has a degree in education and more than 20 years of coaching and fitness experience under her belt. She has been a gymnast from the age of 4, Michelle competed for the University of Rhode Island as a four time Academic all-American.  She continues to compete regionally and nationally as a professional fitness competitor. Michelle’s motto is “Get Better Every Day” and she’s eager to help you break out of a training rut, learn a new exercise, or just improve on your current fitness level.  Pull her aside or make an appointment today!

David Martin

David is a USA Triathlon Level 1 Certified Coach, USA Cycling Level 1 Coach, NASM certified personal trainer/fitness nutrition specialist. He is the Senior Coach in Connecticut for Full Throttle Endurance, an elite amateur triathlon team based out of New York City. He graduated from Skidmore College in 2010 with a B.S. in Fine Arts studying abroad in London, Florence, and Mexico. David specializes in cycling tactics and strategies, freestyle swim drills and techniques, aerobic techniques, aerobic capacity, and VO2 max training, gait analysis, and rehab protocols for post surgical and injured populations.

Tyler Monroe

Tyler graduated from Western Connecticut State University receiving his Bachelor’s of Science in Health Promotion Studies, Wellness Management and a minor in Psychology. He is a National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Personal Trainer.  He specializes in powerlifting, strength training, and conditioning. His professionalism, passion for fitness, and eagerness to learn is palpable and he will be a great asset towards helping you attain your training and fitness goals.

Alysa O'Donovan

Alysa graduated from Sacred Heart University with a Bachelors in Psychology and a minor in dance in 2017. She has been a competitive dancer for 15 years; has been teaching and choreographing for 4 years. She has preformed in special events such as the Orange Bowl half time show. She also grew up playing Ice Hockey. Alysa is a STOTT PILATES certified instructor (Mat work and Reformer) and a Trained barre instructor. She enjoys laughing, dancing, and being with her dog Bentley. Her motto is “Strive for progress not perfection” -Anonymous

Elena Picarelli

Elena is a Certified Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, Fitness Nutrition and Athletic Trainer. She has been working in this industry for nine years. She is also a Certified Group Fitness Instructor, Boot Camp, TRX, Pound Fit and Personal Training. Her goal is to Motivate, Challenge and Empower clients to take their fitness goals to the next level.  Elena has a specialty in weight training and High-Intensity Interval Training. All of her classes including the high-intensity classes have modifications available for those recovering from injuries or for those just getting started on the for-life fitness journey. Her goal is to "Build strength and confidence one rep at a time."

Jordan Pessolano

Jordan is Certified through the National Personal Training Institute. He is also certified in Basic Nutrition and could assist clients with healthy eating habits. He specializes in strength training and weight loss. He believes that physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity.

Matt Pietrantonio

Matt is certified by USA Powerlifting. He has a background in competitive sports including Football and Track and Field which has given him a deeper knowledge and understanding of the body and its systems of recovery and performance.Powerlifting is a rarity in terms of Sport competition because each athlete is judged ONLY on their merit and performance. For the performance minded individual, there is an infinite combination of training approaches and programming styles to keep the athlete in a constant state of progression. Powerlifting, as a sport, is comprised of three compound barbell lifts: The Squat, The Bench Press and The Deadlift.

Nicole Plavchan

Through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Nicole is certified in CPT, Core, Bodybuilding, Speed, Quickness, and Agility. She is also a Certified Functional Strength Coach, TRX Certified, and Coach by Color Spin certified. She believes that you should do something today that your future self will thank you for.

Lynn Priest

Lynn has been a Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor for over 20 years. She has experience in strength training, weight loss programs, pilates, yoga, dance, martial arts, and much more. She has certifications in ACSM CPT (American College of Sports Medicine) and NASM CPT (National Academy of Sports Medicine). She believes that fitness keeps her feeling positive and mentally strong each and every day.

Kristina Root

Kristina is certified by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Specialities include Form Focused Exercise, Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation, Safe, Functional Training and HITT. She is also certified in AFAA Personal Training and Group Exercise and Spin instruction. She enjoys working one-on-one with members and helping them feel comfortable in a gym and focusing on form.

Justyna Rychta

Justyna is certified in Les Mills Body Pump, P90X, Beach Body Insanity, Mad Dogg Spin, and AFAA Personal Training. She has a passion for fitness and living a healthy lifestyle. She loves watching my class participants and clients succeed.

Kathryn Smith

Kathryn obtained her Master's Degree from the University of Denver. She has been teaching a variety of fitness classes for over 12 years. She is a Certified Pilates Mat and Group Fitness instructor. She also enjoys dancing and skiing.

Sandy Trimarchi

Sandy is a registered yoga teacher RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance. She enjoys building yoga community with her students, and teaches mindfulness as well as Asana yoga poses. She focuses on strengthening the spirit, body and mind. If you're wondering about that yoga "natural high" you hear about, talk to Sandy!

Swim Trainers

Jeanne DiGiacomo

Jeanne has been the Aquatic/Swim Program Director for 15 years. USA/NM Parks and Rec Head Swim Coach for the Local Barracudas Swim Team for 21 years. She is a Developmental Swim Coach and Certified Water Safety Instructor/Water Aerobics. She is also a Lifeguard Instructor. It's never too late to improve your swimming skills by learning how to swim efficiently.  "Never count the laps. Make every lap count."

Roger Simmons

Roger has 11 years of competitive swimming experience for the Sioux Falls YMCA and placed in the Top 3 since the age of 12. He joined the Navy for 6 years where he swam on several Navy Base Swim Teams and qualified in 3 all Navy Regional meets. He swam for Sioux Falls for 3 years after the Navy. His coaching career began in 1975 after he left the Navy. He has experience coaching up to 60 swimmers. He is able to prepare clients for military/special forces water training.

Rob Nathan

Coach Nathan is a lifelong swimmer and has successfully taught all levels (Beginner, Intermediate, & Advanced) throughout his adult life. Currently a school counselor & coach of NMHS Boys’ Swimming & Diving team Nathan was recognized as Connecticut Swim Coaches Association Boys’ High School Coach of the Year (1986, 1987, 1988), the Connecticut Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (CISCA) Boys’ High School Coach of the Year (1988), CISCA Girls’ Coach of the Year (2001), Connecticut High School Coaches Association Swim Gatorade Swim Coach of the Year (2009), and a national Coach of the Year finalist (one of eight finalists) for the National High School Athletic Coaches Association (2016).


Julia Meno

Julia Meno, CTRS,  ATRIC, is the founder/owner of Therapeutic Aquatics, Inc and provides Aquatic Fitness, Therapy and Wellness for chronic orthopedic and neurologic pain.  She instructs therapeutic exercise classes and provides individual Myofascial Aquatic Body Work, AquaStretch™ and Adaptive Aquatic sessions. Julia is the author and publisher of The "Bad Ragaz Ring Method Visual Instructional Manual and Video"; also co-producer of “PNF in The Pool” and “Myofascial Aquatic Body Work” DVD’s. She is the recipient of the ATRI 2002 Tsunami Spirit Award and the 2014 Aquatic Therapy Professional Award for her innovation, teaching and implementation of Aquatic Therapy & Rehabilitation. Both national and international audiences have received her workshops enthusiastically.
